As we reach the end of the financial year, organisations are looking for a charity to support over the next twelve months, many preferring a local charity so they can have a real understanding on how money they raised will be used to support local beneficiaries and get a better understanding of the massive difference their support can have on smaller charities.

We hope you may consider Yorkshire Children’s Trust. Not only are we a truly local charity, based in Halifax in the heart of Yorkshire, we support children across the whole region with our four themes of help that support both financially as well as the mental health of local children.

The charity was created by two sets of parents who had children suffering from childhood cancers, this gives them a unique perspective into the challenges and needs that children face when support cannot be achieved through traditional channels such as the NHS or the local authority. This also also allowed the charity to quickly react any change support offerings through challenges such as the pandemic and cost of living crisis.

Best of all, with strong green credentials, the charity covers core costs with its green recycling initiatives, so 100% of any funds raised through charity partnerships with local businesses will be used to support local children – how many other charities can make this claim?

We have a dedicated page on our website (https://yctrust.uk/donations/team_fundraising/) where you can learn about some of the many ways your company can help support local children through Yorkshire Children’s Trust, and remember every donation helps to make a real difference to a local child.

So what are you waiting for? Why not drop an email to simon@yctrust.uk or give Simon a call directly on 01422 728080 and we can arrange an informal meeting over a cuppa and a biscuit and discuss how we can work together to help support as many children as possible throughout 2023.
