We very much appreciate that it has been a very difficult year not just for businesses, charities and adults, but it has hit young children hard too, especially younger children who have not been able to understand why they’ve been isolated from family and friends, playgroups and nursery and could possibly be facing another Christmas with restrictions in place.

We were contacted by the Calderdale Health Visiting Team who mentioned they have some very special children they’re supporting who may not be having a very good Christmas this year and asked us if we would be kind enough to donate some gifts to support these children and their families. Always willing to liaise with other local organisations, we are very happy to donate some gifts to the team, after all, its not just children in hospital who are suffering this Christmas.

As a small charity, we also have had a very difficult time over the last two years, we have seen a drop in donations and our supporters have not been able to hold any fundraising events for nearly two years. You can help make sure we can continue to help support many more children and their families in 2022 by making a pledge on the Virtual Giving Tree in association with Birstall Shopping Park. No matter how big, or small you donation, every penny will be used to support local children, so you are making a big difference. To make your donation pledge now, click here.
