As our Christmas Present Appeal draws to a close this year, we have one more magical wish to grant to the Children’s Ward at Calderdale Hospital. We heard on the grapevine that the ward really needed some new portable DVD players to help keep the children entertained on the ward. After speaking to the play workers we promised to see if we could arrange for a new portable DVD player to be delivered to the ward.
With a sprinkling of Christmas magic, we arranged for not just one, but six portable DVD players to be delivered to the ward yesterday afternoon and we hope these will help provide many hours of entertainment for children in hospital over the coming months and years. We would also like to thank Bearder Charity and Argos for helping to make this Christmas wish come true.
