We are very happy to work in close partnership with local hospitals, we not only receive referrals for support for families on the ward, but we also are very pleased to take chocolate eggs at Easter and presents (and a visit from Santa) at Christmas time.

This year has been very different and we have not been able to do our annual Easter visits so have looked at supporting the children’s wards in other ways as you may have seen on some of our other news posts. The play workers at Calderdale requested help to fund the new ‘tablet stations’ for children who have to be in the waiting room and we were very happy to help with a donation of £500 towards the cost.

Community support is a very big part of our work here at Yorkshire Children’s Trust and we are happy to consider support options to help cover both the emotional and financial needs of some of the most vulnerable children in our community.

Please consider a donation to support our work – we are a self sufficient charity, and 100% of your donation will be used to support these children and their families.
