We would like to pass on our immense thanks to Radek Bak at the Corner Grill House Restaurant in York. Already an extremely popular restaurant, it recently moved to new bigger premises with their grand opening being on Thursday 27th April which was attended by the Lord Mayor of York, Cllr David Carr and the Lord Mayor’s Consort, Lynda Carr, among the guests, with Cllr Carr giving a speech wishing Radek, his family and the staff all the best for the future of the business.
Wanting to help support a truly local charity, Radek with the help and support of Petra Mowbray from Make it York decided to ask guests to help support Yorkshire Children’s Trust on their opening night with donations to the Trust. We are extremely proud to have received £655 via JustGiving, £125 in Cash, £50 Cheque and a further £108.75 in Gift Aid, bringing the grand total raised for Yorkshire Children’s Trust on opening night to £938.75.
Thank you to all the team at Corner House Grill for helping support YCT and we wish you every success for the future, also every penny of the raised funds will be supporting local children through our various themes of support.
