We would like to pass on our sincere thanks to the Trustees of the Sweetpea Charity who have donated £500 to Yorkshire Children’s Trust to help us fund sensory equipment for our new premises that we are moving to in the next few months.

The Sweetpea charity was created in 2009 by the parents of Milly who was brain damaged at birth and as a result was profoundly disabled. Following Milly’s passing aged 9, her parents created the Sweetpea Charity to relieve sickness and preserve and protect the good heath of children. To ensure that children in similar situations to Milly could be supported and able to live life to the best of their abilities.

We truly sympathise what Milly and her parents have gone through and this very welcome donation will help to support children with additional needs to receive play therapy through our new sensory room.
