We have travelled over 380 miles and collected donations of over 1,000 chocolate eggs for our Easter Appeal this year. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to every single person and organisation that helped to support our appeal this year.
Yesterday we went on our visits to local hospitals to drop off these donations in a socially distanced way. You’ve helped to bring a smile to the faces of children on the wards of the following hospitals this Easter:
Calderdale Royal
Airedale
Leeds General Infirmary
Bradford Royal Infirmary
Dewsbury District Hospital
Pinderfields
and of course we were also able to donate some eggs to the families staying at Eckersley House, the Leeds home from home that provides free accommodation for families who have children on the wards receiving life saving treatment.
As we take a few days off to reflect on a very busy couple of weeks, we would just like to sign off by wishing everyone a very happy Easter and we looking forward to supporting many more local families very soon.
