Can you help to support a truly local charity?
This year we are still seeing a drop in fundraising events due to the ongoing restrictions and social distancing measures that have been in place for over a year now. Despite this we are seeing a spike in demand for our services. We really need your help and support so we can continue to meet this demand and ensure we are able to fully support the mental health and wellbeing of children who need help in the region.
So how can you help? Why not take on a personal challenge such as a sponsored run or walk, get you local school involved in fundraising or suggest that your workplace has Yorkshire Children’s Trust as charity of the year. Even a one-off or regular donation would help to make a real difference.
Did you know? As an eco-friendly charity, we cover our core costs with our green recycling initiatives, so when you take on a challenge or make a donation to YCT, 100% of the funds are used to support local children. From counselling and play therapies, to specialist car seat, wheelchairs and respite breaks, you can help us to support these families.
How do I set up a fundraising page? We use JustGiving, the market leader for collecting event sponsorship money and donations. To create your personal page to raise funds for YCT, please click here.
How do I donate? We welcome one-off or regular donations of any amount, every penny really does make a difference. You can make a credit/debit card payment by clicking here or if you prefer you can set up a regular direct debit by clicking here.
Can you help with workplace fundraising? Of course! If you are fundraising at work or are part of a group (including schools and places of worship), and you would like to learn more about our work, one of our team members would be happy to visit to give a talk about how we were created and the support we offer to local families, just give our friendly team a call on 01422 728080 or email charity@yctrust458634513.wpcomstaging.com
