The recent Charity Jigsaw Festival, held at St. Martin’s Church, Brighouse, attracted 670 Visitors who purchased 960 jigsaws, enjoyed the comforts of the Missing Piece Café, took their chance on the entry raffle, the tombola and the Golden Jigsaw and bought from the craft stalls.

Local charities who support disadvantaged and underprivileged children and young people in Calderdale and the surrounding areas will be receiving donations totalling £13,000.
Throughout the last twelve months over 80 people have worked to make the event a success. Since 2012 the annual Charity Jigsaw Festivals and the online shop, jigsaws@brighouse, have raised over £133,000 to support local children’s charities.

Yorkshire Children’s Trust received £2,000 from this years festival, and 100% of these funds will go to support local children. The charity wish to say thank you to everybody who gave their time, talents and contributions to support this fantastic annual event.
