Matthew races to a personal best for Yorkshire Children’s Trust. Wanting to support a local charity, not only has Matthew O’Connor taken charity tins to work to raise money for YCT, but he also wanted to take on a personal challenge too.
Training hard, Matthew took on the Leeds Half Marathon. After being delayed due to the pandemic, Matthew took on the challenge on Sunday 5th September and managed to beat his personal best, with a finish time of just two hours and seven minutes! Best of all he has managed to raise a fabulous £358 on his Justgiving page to help support some of the most needy children in the region.
We would like to thank Matthew for raising money for Yorkshire Children’s Trust, just like all money raised from personal challenges, 100% of the money raised will be used to support local children and their families through our emotional and financial support schemes. If you would like to take on a personal challenge and help support local children, why not drop us a message and tell us all about it?
