Just like all charities and organisations we are facing increased financial pressures. Not only have we had two years of a pandemic, but now the cost of living crisis has caused all of the charities expenses to skyrocket, especially energy bills that have risen by over 400% since last year. At the same time, since the pandemic we have seen a substantial increase in demand for our services.
The Pierrepont Trust has supported Yorkshire Children’s Trust over the last three years with donations to support our work and when they heard of the added pressures we were facing they were extremely generous with a donation of £10,000 to help with our core cost expenses over the next year. This truly outstanding support brings their overall donations to the charity to £25,000 over three years and helps to relieve some of the financial pressures we are facing.
Without the support of great organisations such as the Pierrepont Trust we would not be able to offer the essential support we do to local children and their families.
