Respite Breaks are a big part of the support we offer to our families. Not only does it provide a short break away for a family, many whom have never been away before, but it also provides a rest from sometimes aggressive and prolonged treatment regimes. Yorkshire Children’s Trust has two holiday homes at Butlins in Skegness, costing the charity approximately £14,000 a year to run.
Without the support of some great funders, we would not be in a position to offer this essential service to families in the community, and today we need to offer our thanks to the following two organisations who have made a substantial donation to our funding appeal this month.
