Yorkshire Children’s Trust believe that the mental health of children is of paramount importance, especially so if they have additional needs, illnesses or disabilities. The charity provide free respite breaks for not just a child who needs our help, but their parents and siblings too. We can even accommodate a carer if one is needed. In many cases, the families we support have never had a break together before due to financial constraints and the pressure of dealing with additional needs that illnesses and disabilities can present.
We have two holiday homes at Butlins in Skegness and it costs the charity approximately £12,000 to run both these each year. Our appeal is to help cover these costs so we can continue to provide these essential respite breaks free of charge to our beneficiaries.
Today we would like to pass on our thanks to the Webb Family Charitable Trust who have donated £3000.00 to help towards the costs of providing our respite homes. Without great supporters like these we would not be able to provide our support to our beneficiaries.
