As many will know, Yorkshire Children’s Trust have supported local children since 2011, and for the last few years we have been honoured to support local hospital with our Christmas and Easter Appeals. This year is no different and we are very excited to announce that our new Easter Appeal is officially live!
Rather than collecting chocolate eggs, we are asking for the equivalent to be donated to help support the mental health of local children. The last two years of the pandemic has had a significant impact on the mental health of local children, especially those that have been forced to isolate for prolonged periods of time due to them having an illness or disability.
Yorkshire Children’s Trust are asking for a pound or more to be donated via their Easter JustGiving Appeal page, with all funds raised being used to buy arts, craft and activities to help support children who have prolonged stays in hospital where difficult treatment regimes can become the new normal and periods of monotony can set in.
Remember! Every penny will be used to support children in the following hospitals:
Calderdale Hospital
Bradford Royal Infirmary
Airedale Hospital
Pinderfields
Dewsbury District Hospital
Leeds Children’s Hospital (Oncology Ward)
