The Yorkshire Indian Society hold a very special glitzy charity ball every year to help support local charities. Last years ball was held on 25th April and being post pandemic it was never a more important time to help support local charities that have all gone above and beyond to help support people of all ages through two very difficult years.
An evening of fantastic food and wine was finished off with an evening of entertainment that helped to raised £24,500 to support the following charities:
⭐ Yorkshire Children’s Trust
⭐ Simon on the Streets
⭐ Forget Me Not Hospice
⭐ Gram Vikas Trust
⭐ Leeds Hospital’s Trust
⭐ Association of Ukrainians (Leeds Branch)
At Yorkshire Children’s Trust we cover our core costs with our green recycling initiatives, so every single penny of our part of the raised funds will be used to directly help and support local children. We would like to offer our thanks to the entire YIS committee, especially Dr Joji Joseph for selecting YCT as one of his nominated charitable causes for the event.
