Hospital Stay Grant – Application Submitted
Your application for a Hospital Stay Grant has been submitted to the charity and the team will start work on processing the application in the next few days. You will receive an email with the outcome in due course.
Applications are processed by our volunteer support workers who will verify the information you have provided to make a recommendation to the charity Trustees who make the final determination on all awards.

What will happen now?
We will collate the information you have sent us and check with the hospital to make sure your child is an in-patient or has a pre-planned visit.
I live outside Yorkshire, will be application be accepted?
We are a Yorkshire charity and prioritise applications from families that reside in the Yorkshire region, but we will consider applications on their merit from families that reside in other regions in the North of England.
Do I need to send any information to verify my application?
No, we process applications for Hospital Grants electronically and are able to verify information directly with hospitals so there is no need to send any further documents or letters to us unless we specifically ask for them.
My child has not been in hospital for 21 days, will my application be declined?
We will liaise with the medical professional you asked us to contact to see if you are likely to be in hospital with your child over the 21 day qualifying period. Each application is judged on its own merit.
How long will the application take?
We appreciate the urgent needs of families with children in hospital and we prioritise hospital grants over other support grants. Applications are subject to verification and approval by the Trustees.
Is it guaranteed acceptance?
Although we do try to support as many families as we can, applications are subject to our terms and conditions and approval by our Trustees. There is no automatic right to our charitable funds.
