Our brand new textile clothing banks being delivered this week!
We are so excited to be working with ASTCO to be placing these around the Yorkshire region to help raise money for the charity but also prevent good quality clothing going to landfill unnecessarily.
At Yorkshire Children’s Trust, we are immensely proud of our green credentials, our textile clothing banks compliment our other recycling services such as house to house collections, ink-cartridge recycling and even recycling old stamps and currency to raise funds to support our beneficiaries.
We are looking for businesses across the four Yorkshire regions who have some space to host a totally free textile clothing bank. They don’t take up a lot of room, but encourage both your employees and members of the public to recycle clothing and prevent unnecessary items going to landfill.
The textile clothing banks are delivered and regularly emptied by our commercial partner ASTCO, who also hold extensive liability insurance, so it is a easy no-cost way to support Yorkshire Children’s Trust, a truly local charity.
